Management systems
Meeting the expectations of our clients, we want our products to be characterised by high quality and to meet the strictest legal requirements.
By following such a strategy, in 1997, we implemented European standard EN 1783:1997:SAF, which guarantees that we only manufacture matches of the utmost safety.
The next step was to introduce a management system in accordance with the ISO 9001: 2008 standard in 2010 in the field of the design, production and sale of standard and advertising matches as well as match elements and kindling.
Then, in 2011, we acquired the FSC ® certificate. The ability to use FSC ® label means that the materials used in the product has been obtained in a responsible manner. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a not-for-profit organization with a global reach, dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. FSC® defines the standards on the basis of the established principles of responsible forest management with the support of environmental, social and economic stakeholders. More information can be found at: www.fsc.org.
Another important date was the 25th of November 2014 when we acquired the certificate of conformity of the environmental management system with the ISO 14001:2004 standard in the field of the design, production and sale of standard and advertising matches as well as match elements and kindling.
In 2018, we have expanded the scope of the FSC® certificate by bark and paper packaging and we have obtained positive results of the certification audit in accordance with ISO standards 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
This is certainly not the end of our journey for the acquisition of certificates. By implementing management systems as well as through a constant development of areas related to quality and environmental protection, we want to show that, when we pursue our business goals, we respect the natural environment and minimise its contamination, while also improving the quality of our products.
